Icarus

From Origami

It's the middle of summer, and I've only folded one thing--Hojyo Takashi's Icarus. I was able to obtain the diagrams so I didn't need to figure out the crease pattern, fortunately. This model was folded with Japanese Tant paper (the larger kind), which I thought was going to be near impossible. The fold was actually very hard, and there were many times when the directions said something like, "repeat from 121-150 to the other side". This happened several times.

Without that, there were 250+ steps for this model. Pretty crazy--I'd say it was harder than Satoshi's Ancient Dragon.

I've also grew in interest in photography. I'm currently taking pictures with the Nikon D5000.
